Collection: Forests & Rivers

Beech forest, tropical coastal forest, kauri podocarp forest, fern forests  and redwood forests - New Zealand has a diverse range from north to south. My favourite forests are the beech forests - I just love the mossy trees and undergrowth. Not far behind is the Redwood Forest in Rotorua and I'm lucky it's not far for me to drive. 

Forests often go hand in hand with rivers, and New Zealand has some incredible rivers - like The Blue Spring where water travels 100 years before bubbling up here, and the glacial fed rivers of the South Island which run with an unbelievably vibrant aqua colour.  When you combine both forests AND rivers you have a landscape scene of beauty!
